Upgrade Mobile Device

Looking to upgrade to a new phone?

With incredible screens, amazing cameras and blazing-fast speeds, there has never been a better time to upgrade to a new smartphone. Best of all, you'll continue to get access to Canada's best national network.1

How upgrades work

When you get a new phone on a 2-year term with Bell SmartPay™, you are able to pay for your new smartphone in 24 monthly payments with 0% APR. However, you could be eligible to upgrade early just by paying off your remaining device balance.

To find out if you’re eligible for an upgrade or to check your device balance, log in to MyBell.

How to upgrade your phone

If you are eligible and interested in upgrading to a new phone, there are two ways you can do so:

Upgrading online is fast and convenient, with free shipping and delivery times as fast as 1 to 2 business days. Log in to MyBell.

You can also visit your nearest Bell store or book an appointment at select stores.

Before upgrading, please note the following:

Only the account holder and authorized users can make changes and upgrade phones on the account.

A one-time connection Service Fee ($($70) per member) applies with hardware upgrades.

You may be required to change rate plans when you upgrade.

With the Bell Trade-in program, you can trade in an old phone in store to lower your monthly device payments or trade in online and get a credit on your account. See how much your device is worth.

Smart/Phone Care plans protect your new phone beyond the 12-month limited warranty that manufacturers offer. You get coverage for manufacturer's defects, physical/water damage, loss, theft and more.
